if you are wondering if my mind is still heavy on the Romanovs the answer is yes. Except this time it is heavy on Anastasia or the person who personated her Anna Anderson. Now yall are probably wondering. What do these two have in common because one of them was technically not mentally competent. The other is a narcissistic wannabe. The one thing the two have in common is mistaken identity. Because of Netflix yall already know about Anna Sorokin but have you heard about Anna Anderson? Now Anna Anderson stories is a kicker because she was kind of force to believe that she was Grand Duchess Anastasia Romanov. Also there weren’t any DNA test or technology back then. To be honest with you I really think that people wanted to believe that Anna Anderson was the grand duchess so bad because it gave them hope that at least one Romanov was still alive. Unfortunately for Anna they didn’t find out that she was the grand duchess until she was deceased. Yes I do have sympathy for Anna Anderson because she was not competent and she wasn’t the one who made it public that she could be the late grand duchess. Now for Anna Sorkin I am still trying to figure out how in a day and age full of technology. She was able to get away with doing what she was doing. There is not excuse for mistaken identity during these times. This is crazy how people didn’t do a background check on this woman and her background with all the rich people she had conned. I suggest to everybody if you are suspicious of the people you are dealing with( including even my trustworthy ass) do a background check. I am a full believer that being a private investigator is one of those career that will never go out of style just simply because the world is full of con artist. Any way it is crazy how both had the world thinking they were someone of importance. My question is this with even Anna Sorkin. Are we so desperate to be around influential and rich people that we believe the lies of a con artist? You can’t full blame both women for the world wanting them to be something they are not. Same thing with Elizabeth Holmes crazy ass. You can’t desperately want something to exist by throwing money at it. The royal family took care of Anna Anderson until she died for crying out loud!!!! My issue has always been with this Romanov tragedy is why didn’t the Windsors do anything!!!!! The Romanovs had contacted them and asked for help. Now you are hoping someone who isn’t competent is Anastasia. You should have helped them period. Suffice to say you can’t wish people to be something they are not just because of guilt or hope. Both of these women were able to live luxurious lives just because the public wanted them to be those things not just them. Word of advice to the public don’t hate the player hate the game you force people to play in order for them to be treated the right way.
