After this weekend at Dave and Buster’s. I am starting to see that people becoming more and more rude when it comes to customer service. Even though I may have sent a complaint, they wanted me to give them names of the Host and server. Number one I never saw the server’s nametag (and I am pretty sure she didn’t have a nametag on). Two do you think they give a damn about losing a low paying job??? We live in a day and age where all these kids have to do is build a website and have merch on it. Some of them probably already have an ecommerce shop. They’re just waiting to get their first customer. Having a normal everyday job isn’t working anymore for this generation of ecommerce marketers. Having a drive-thru drive at McDonald’s isn’t a thing anymore. I feel like my generation was the last to think we had to do those jobs to come up in the world. With technological advancements coming into play. Teenagers are no longer going to be needed in the drive thru but someone is going to have to take to order. I remember how much it hurt to loose my first job. These days if you fire someone. They just walk away and start an online business. Asking for good customer service feels like it is something that has to be earn which sucks because you paid for the service. What are we going to do about customer service?
